Marbill Developments was formed in 1974 by Messrs Martin Hoare and William Rimmer in the village of Sabden. Their intention was to provide a contract moulding service processing high performance polyurethane elastomer systems to produce product required by multiple industrial sectors.
Within a few years, in collaboration with a leading polyurethane (PU) material supply house the company successfully developed a PU elastomer spray system complete with bespoke spray machine technology. This new spray coating service offered a versatile abrasion and corrosion resilient solution where moulding is impractical, or tooling for moulding would be prohibitively expensive.
Almost 50 years on these two services, polyurethane moulding & spray coating are the core manufacturing services Marbill Developments offer.
Polyurethane covers on Roller & Wheels became a growing part of the business in the 1990’s and in the year 2000 the company added Rubber Cover with finishing services to the product offer.
The company now polyurethane and rubber covers rollers & wheels for some of the UK’s leading businesses in diverse applications. Roller manufacturing, balancing, grooving services (where it cannot be done inhouse) can also be arranged by Marbill.
